Warmly celebrate the success of 2022 Sea-rail Transport &Cross-border Transportation Forum!

On December 16, 2022 Sea-rail Transport & Cross-border Transportation Forum was successfully held on the opportunities and challenges of "One Belt, One Road" China-Europe Class Train.


This year's Iron and Water Forum was hosted by Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Transportation, and organized by Shenzhen Logistics and Supply Chain Management Association and Shenzhen Neptune Logistics Group. Zhong Yongjun, Chief Business Architect and President of Operations of Neptune Logistics Group, acted as the moderator of the forum, and discussed with domestic and foreign guests from railroad, port, logistics and supply chain industries about the opportunities and challenges of the "Belt and Road" China-Europe Class Train, looking forward to discovering new opportunities in the market.

Mr. Cai Xin, Deputy Director of Shenzhen Municipal Transport Bureau (Municipal Port Authority), gave the opening speech of this year's Iron and Water Forum. "Economic development and improvement of people's livelihood are inseparable from logistics first." Cai Xin said that this year's Iron and Water Forum will further build a platform for close contact, in-depth communication and high-quality cooperation for "Belt and Road" cross-border transportation, and join hands to promote the transformation and upgrading of "Belt and Road" iron and water transportation and cross-border transportation of China-Europe trains. "Shenzhen will continue to innovate and develop, and continue to enhance the collection of goods and regional radiation drive capacity of the Shenzhen port."

At the forum, Zhao Qiang, Deputy Director of Marketing Center of Neptune Logistics Group and General Manager of Guangzhou Company, brought the theme sharing of "Future Market Direction and Opportunities of China-Europe Class Train". By showing the current market industry situation, he gave an in-depth analysis of the challenges faced by the future development of China-EU Liner from various aspects, such as the view of China-EU Liner under satellite images, the data of China-EU Liner operation in past years, and the congestion of ports. "We predict that the turning point of CEB trains from high growth to fine tuning has arrived, but there are still opportunities under the challenges." Zhao Qiang said that breaking through the capacity bottleneck, Neptune Logistics can provide new energy vehicles iron transportation to the sea business, Far East sea-rail transport & truck flight products, etc. There are also new opportunities at the full schedule of the China-European Liner operation, bulk cargo import trade, etc.

DIYOR, Director of Overseas Operations of Neptune Logistics Group, delivered a speech on "Challenges and Opportunities, Problems and Prospects Facing EU-China-EU Route" in an online format. He pointed out several challenges faced by the current market such as: imbalance of East/West routes, container shortage and high price of usage, depreciation of locomotives and wagons, etc. At the same time, he analyzed the trends ushered in by the overseas market, such as the development of railroad e-commerce business and the increasing number of cargoes switching to green railroad transport methods.
